Thrift Shopper

Today, I am planning on thrifting for a client of mine after class and we are on super tight budget. Since I don't live in the area, where am I going? The Thrift Shopper. Best directory of thrift stores, organized by zip code with ratings and reviews. I love this web site.

Fingers crossed on finding stuff.

This to That

I found an amazing website while I was looking for a way to glue army men to my truck. (I have an art car, but I'll save that for a different day. I'm decorating the exterior, not the interior.) Thistothat.com, although simple, has a convenient drop down menu featuring which glue is best for holding this material to that material.
Apparently, I'm going to need LePage's Metal Epoxy. That's so metal.

Free Domino Magazine Subscription

Domino Magazine has a super cool offer going on right now for interior design students to take part in a panel for their magazine. If you fill out their survey, you get a free subscription for a year.
I love this magazine and read it whenever I can get my hands on it. Although this sounds really promising, I signed up about a month ago and filled out a few email surveys and still haven't seen anything in the mail. Oh well, at least I'm helping.

Nintendo Installation

Antoinette J. Citizen did an amazing, amazing thing. Her(?) intallation of "Landscape" has all of the Nintendo Super Mario Bros. background, as well as interactive question mark boxes. And, it's so popular, that her site seems to have gone down while I was typing this... :( Hopefully it will come back up. But I love this so much. It seriously made my day.

Farrow & Ball

Farrow & Ball offer free wallpaper samples. They have a really classic feel and tend to work in a neutral pallet.

Only 2 free samples per order.

Free paint samples

Free paint samples. Not paint chips. Not fan decks. FREE PAINT. Visit Freshaire choice paint's web page, choose three samples, call their toll-free number, and receive 2-oz samples by mail.

Their paint is also VOC-free, which means it's environmentally friendly, and their packaging is 100% recyclable.

Lonseal Flooring

Lonseal is a vinyl designer and manufacturer that "pushes the limit" of vinyl convention. Although their products are mostly for commercial use, they have some really interesting designs. It reminds me of industrial in the future. They also have earth-friendly products in their Greenvinyl program.

Only one free sample per order.

Laminate Flooring

Laminate-flooring.com, the home of Old Homestead Floors, provides up to 4 free laminate flooring samples. No shipping charges, but their selection is limited.

Armstrong commercial flooring

Armstrong commercial floorings in the US provides free samples, although they charge a shipping and handling charge.
Instead of using their website designed for the states, head over to their United Kingdom site, where you can order commercial flooring samples minus the shipping and handling charges.
The downside is that you can only order linoleum and vinyl floor coverings.

Anderson Flooring Samples

Anderson Hardwood Floors are very accomodating with their free samples and they have hundreds of styles to choose from. You can order 4 samples at a time and they offer free USPS shipping.

Vintage II

Another abandoned house. I really like what they have going on over at abandoned places.

Yay! New blog!

I kind of had a little home started on a different blog, but it wasn't going the direction that I wanted it to, so I decided to start my own little number up. This is mine, mine, mine.
The first few posts will mostly be pulling my old things off of the old blog and moving them over here, but after that, I'm in control again.

Excited!
